Amanda has over 15 years of experience in the youth sector through project management and from the University of Waterloo . Amanda is also an educator with the Toronto District School Board. Amanda is deeply committed to supporting youth engagement abd community and justice, volunteering her time with grassroots advocacy initiatives.
Laurel is an Early Childhood Educator, PhD student, Child and Youth Studies,Brock University and a lecturer in the Childhood and Youth Studies department at Kings Western University in Ontario. Her research interests include exploring children’s experiences and perspectives using arts-based methods and exploring outdoor learning and play.
He has experience supporting research and evaluation of youth, community, and health programming. Based in New Brunswick, Zac is particularly interested in capturing and mobilizing knowledge from community partners.
Dr. Halsall is also an Assistant Professor at the School of Epidemiology and Public Health and an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at Carleton University. Her primary research areas are related to child and youth development, evaluation and health promotion. Her specific interests are in participatory approaches and interventions that support system change for child and youth well-being.
